Price increase alert
Wälo compares the successive charges of each subscription, in the same currency. If the latest one goes above the previous one beyond a tolerance, it flags it with “X% price increase detected”: the percentage is calculated from your own charges. Rounding or a currency change doesn’t count as an increase.
Annualized "Burn" Projection
We will automatically multiply your subscription by 12 to show you the real cost against your Net Worth. Spending $20/m turns painful when you see it as $240/year lost.
Free-trial end in your calendar
Started a free trial? Mark it with the day of its first charge: that charge shows up in your calendar as “first charge after the free trial” and Wälo alerts you the number of days before that you choose, so canceling in time doesn’t depend on remembering.
30-day charge calendar
Every confirmed subscription shows up on its date, day by day, with the total for each day, so you see what will leave your accounts before it happens.
How to cancel, step by step
For the services Wälo recognizes, it shows you the steps and the link to the portal where you cancel. The decision to cancel is always yours.

Automatic Detection
When you connect your bank or upload your CSV, our correlation algorithm will identify charges from identical merchants billed rhythmically (every 30 days), instantly cataloguing them as a Subscription.
Confirm or dismiss
Wälo suggests each recurring charge it detects, with its confidence level. If it is a subscription, you confirm it and it moves to your recurring transactions and your calendar; if it isn't, you dismiss it and it doesn't come back.
Price audit and alerts
Wälo reviews the charges of each subscription. If the latest one goes up compared with the previous one, it shows “X% price increase detected” in your list, with the calculated percentage, and sends you an alert. If they go down or only change by rounding, it does nothing.
Scissors in Action (Financial Impact)
Seeing the annualized projection shows you how much a small charge weighs over a year, and you can decide to cancel it. When you mark a subscription as canceled, Wälo adds its yearly cost to your “Returned savings”, in your household’s currency.
